YouTube Subscriptions Transfer - Chrome Extension

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any external servers. All data processing happens entirely within your browser.

What Data Is Accessed

The extension accesses the following data only when you explicitly initiate an action:

• YouTube channel names and URLs — read from your YouTube subscriptions page during export. This data is saved locally to a JSON file on your computer.
• YouTube page content — the extension interacts with YouTube pages to click the "Subscribe" button during the import process.

Data Storage

The exported subscription data is saved as a local JSON file on your computer. The extension does not use any cloud storage, external databases, or analytics services.

Data Sharing

This extension does not share any data with third parties. No analytics, tracking, or advertising services are used.

Permissions Explained

• activeTab / tabs — to detect if you are on YouTube and navigate to the subscriptions page.
• scripting — to run scripts on YouTube pages that collect channel information or click subscribe buttons.
• downloads — to save the exported subscriptions file to your computer.
• storage — to save import progress state locally within the browser.
• host_permissions (youtube.com) — to interact with YouTube pages for export and import functionality.
